Between the time of flight search and original reservation, seats may sell out and the airlines then start selling the available seats for a higher price. Hence, to display fares as current as possible, FareMojo closely monitors these fluctuations.
After you have made the booking with FareMojo, if you find a lower fare (including taxes and fees) for the exact flight itinerary on a major OTA competitor’s site available for booking the same day up to 10 PM, FareMojo will either refund the difference in price to ensure Price Match Guarantee. Or, if you prefer, we will cancel your booking and give you the full refund.
The “same flight itinerary” means that all the elements (such as airline(s), flight number(s), date(s), itinerary, number of customers, and seat type) in the offer or itinerary are same.
As per the airline regulations, FareMojo cannot hold any reservation or booking. Since airfares are not guaranteed until ticketed, you need to buy the tickets immediately to avoid missing the discounted fare you found on FareMojo.

If you are traveling with infants (under the age of 24 months) within the United States, there will be no charge for them as long as they are seated on an adult's (over 18 years) lap. However, only one infant is allowed to travel as a lap child per adult (over 18 years). In most cases, infants traveling internationally will be required to pay some percentage of the adult fare including taxes and carry a paper ticket even though they are traveling on the adult's lap. Infant tickets cannot be purchased online. Please contact our customer support team to book infant ticket.

If due to a technical error, you see an incorrect fare on the website, FareMojo has the right to advise you on the correct fare within three business days of your booking. Yes, you can book a reservation for an unaccompanied minor by calling our customer support team. But we suggest you contact the airline directly to verify all rules, restrictions, and costs regarding unaccompanied minor travel before booking your ticket.

Please call our customer support team to make any changes in your existing booking. Please be informed that airlines charge an extra fee per ticket including any difference in fare (which can vary from flight to flight) for any changes requested. To initiate a change in your reservation, you may be required to meet the following criteria:

  • You have to use the same airline
  • You cannot change your name
  • Original booking must be canceled before the original departure date and time
  • Changes may not be entertained in case of routing, dates or other details
  • Some airlines may not permit any changes even with a fee

Some airlines may not allow any changes even with a fee, but in case of other carriers some extra charges may apply for changing your ticket such as:

  • Additional charges resulting from the new ticket having a higher fare
  • Extra penalties imposed by the airline
  • FareMojo service fee for making the changes on your behalf
Airlines never pre-assign all the seats on an aircraft. There are some unassigned seats in Bulk Head and Emergency Exit rows, and for other people like airline employees, frequent flyer account holders, etc. So, if you have a confirmed booking, but do not have a seat assignment, you must reach the airport at least three hours before the scheduled departure time, as you will be assigned a seat only on a first come, first serve basis by the airport ticket/gate personnel.
Due to heightened Homeland Security rules, airlines do not allow name changes so all bookings must be made in the original name of the traveler. For both domestic and international travel, the name mentioned at the time of reservation must match with the name appearing on the traveler's documents such as government issued ID or passport. In the event of a spelling error in the name, please contact our customer support team for assistance.

In the majority of cases, airlines suggest you buy replacement tickets at the current fare. If your original tickets are not used after a specific period (generally 6 to 12 months depending on the airline), you will receive a credit for the purchase price of the replacement tickets minus the application fee. This fee is typically $100.00 per traveler but may vary depending on the airline.

In case of any schedule changes, FareMojo makes every effort to inform you via email or phone, but we are not always aware of these changes made by the airline. So, we suggest you reconfirm your itinerary directly with the airline at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure.

There can be minor changes in the schedule like a change of aircraft, flight number, or in departure and arrival time while severe changes include a change in the date of travel, departure city, arrival city, or even discontinued service to your destination city.

FareMojo will make every attempt to notify you of any schedule changes. These are unpredictable changes, so we strongly suggest our customers verify departure times and flight numbers by contacting the airlines directly 24 to 72 hours before the scheduled departure.

Please note that most of the discounted airline tickets are non-refundable. We strongly suggest you read and agree to our Terms and Conditions before making any reservations with FareMojo. Once you cancel a booking, you are subject to the terms of the cancellation, as documented in our "Terms and Conditions."
If you find that the date of your itinerary on the flight confirmation page is wrong, you must immediately contact our customer support team.
If the email confirmation shows a ‘pending status’, it means that the airline has not confirmed the booking yet. After your credit card has been charged with the amount and tickets are issued, you will receive the final e-mail confirming your itinerary.
A paper ticket is usually dispatched in 2 to 3 business days after the reservation has been made successfully. As confirmation, you will receive the courier's tracking number over an email. But, if you have not received your paper tickets and your departure is nearing, please contact our customer support team.
At the time of your booking, you will be informed whether you will get a paper ticket or an e-ticket. In case of any changes in the type of your ticket to be issued due to technical problems, FareMojo will inform you within 24 hours of your booking.
To reconfirm your booking, please contact the airline directly at least 72 hours before your scheduled flight departure. You should also reconfirm your return flights, within the same time frame.
Partially used tickets are of no value. However, in some cases, you may be able to exchange your unused ticket for a new ticket (subjected to the policies of the airline). If you don’t show up at the airport, your unused ticket will not hold any value.
You cannot add more passengers to your existing booking. The only way to do so is to make a new reservation. Since fares are subject to change every moment; FareMojo does not guarantee the availability of the original fare or flight.
If you an e-ticket, you must carry government-issued photo identification (such as a passport or driver's license) with you to the airport. Besides that, you need to have printed boarding pass up to 24 hours in advance to proceed through the security checkpoint.
Many U.S. airlines have started charging a baggage allowance for both cabin/carry-on bags and check-in luggage. And some carriers are now charging a fee for the second bag as well as for the carry-on luggage. To get more information on the baggage restrictions, please call the airlines directly.
If you are required to change flights as per the itinerary and your airline has a baggage agreement, your baggage will be transported all the way through to your final destination. But, if there is no such agreement, it will be your duty to claim your baggage at the first airport from where you are changing your flight. From there, you need to again check-in your bags for the next flight.
Please look for baggage alert in your itinerary to know if the airline you are flying with has a baggage agreement. Alternatively, you call the airline directly to confirm whether your baggage will be checked to your final destination or if you will have to claim your luggage when you change planes.
If you miss boarding your departure flight, the airline holds the right to mark your ticket as a "No Show" reservation. It means your ticket has no value and cannot be changed or refunded, even with a penalty. If you are on your way to the airport and feel you might miss your flight, You should immediately call the airline to avoid the situation of "No Show."
If you've boarded your departure flight, but have missed the subsequent flight, immediately go to the nearest ticket counter of your airline. In case you've missed your subsequent flight to due to a problem that is within the airline's control, they should provide you with a reservation in the next available flight. If the reason for missing a flight is not within the airline's control (weather, air traffic, etc.) or due to your fault, the airline will decide to protect you or not.
If you are not able to travel, you must call the airline or us immediately. If you decide to "just not show up" your reservation will be marked as a "No Show" and all penalties and restriction mentioned in the previously answered question will apply to you.

The documentation may vary based on the city you're departing from, the city you are traveling to, where you are changing planes and what country your passport has been issued under. To know more in detail about such requirements, we advise you to call the airline you are traveling with.

Please ensure to carry necessary documents else you will be denied boarding by the airline and FareMojo will not be responsible if you fail to present the sufficient or valid travel documents or identification at the airport.

Apart from the baggage fees, there are two more types of payment- Airport Entry and Exit fee. The individual airports charge these during the immigration and customs process and not collected by the travel agency or the airline. To confirm whether you will be required to pay an extra fee, you must call the airline you are flying with.
Yes, most of our airfares allow accumulation of frequent flyer miles, but, there are some exceptions.
As per FareMojo’s specially priced contract fares, you cannot use frequent flyer miles for any upgrades or avail further discount. They must be exchanged either with your credit card company or directly with the airline you have an account with.
No, you cannot use airline vouchers or discount coupons to purchase air tickets.
  • There are restrictions related to the size of pets and the number allowed on each flight.
  • Traveling with a pet (except a guide dog) calls for special handling by the airline crew; hence, an additional fee will apply for this service which may vary depending on the different airlines.
  • Your pet may travel in the baggage compartment of your flight but there are some restrictions depending on the anticipated temperature compartment that may vary from airline to airline.
  • There are certain limitations for cages and other shipping containers such as size, ventilation, strength, sanitation, and design for safe handling. You must meet the criteria if traveling with your pet.
  • You will need to obtain the health certificate of your pet for air travel. Please check with your Veterinarian for more information.
  • Additionally, there are restrictions by many airlines related to breeds in dogs such as Pugs, Pekingese, Boxers and in cats (Persians) as they might find it difficult to breathe at high altitudes.

At times, airlines may make changes to their flight schedules. Hence, FareMojo will make every effort to notify you via e-mail or by phone before the original scheduled departure time if there is a substantial change in your itinerary.

Please note that you will not be notified via an email in case of minor schedule changes that do not have a significant impact on your itinerary. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Change in the number of flight
  • Flight Departure time changes less than 11 minutes earlier
  • Flight Departure time changes less than 20 minutes later

Published Fares are the fares available for sale by the airline.

Bargain Fares are discounted fares available for sale by the airline.

Exclusive Fares are specially negotiated fares with the airlines and are available only on our website.

Once "Exclusive Fares" are sold out, the price moves to the next highest fare level. You might be able to avail the same fares only if you are flexible with your travel dates. You can then try entering new dates and search for suitable prices as "Exclusive Fares" may still be available for the same destination, but, for different dates. When the "Exclusive Fares" are sold out in one of the directions, the price of the ticket will move to the next highest fare level. If you are flexible regarding your travel dates, please try selecting new dates to look for exclusive fares that may be available for the same destination, but on a different date. Prepaid Ticket Advice is a system for sending a message to the airline for issuing the paper tickets at the airport. It is applicable in cases where paper tickets cannot be delivered to the customer's address or in some instances due to some countries rules and regulations we are unable to issue you an electronic ticket.

Once the PTA has been sent to the airline for your booking, we will email you a PTA number for all the passengers involved in your reservation. You will have to provide this number at the airline ticket counter upon check-in at the airport to obtain the paper ticket(s).

Please note that a PTA service fee of $150.00USD will be added to the "Airline Fees and Taxes" amount to cover this cost.

Yes, FareMojo offers military discounts. Since most airlines offer discounted airfares for Military-ID cardholders or active duty personnel, you can opt for these tickets to grab a good deal.
Adults over the age of 65 may be eligible for senior citizen discounts, but it is subjected to airlines’ policies. As many domestic airlines no more offer a senior discount and not all international carriers provide such discounts. In case, there is a senior discount available it will show up while booking online.

Adult fares are for travelers age between 18 and 64.

Senior travelers fall under the age group of 65 and above. Fares may not be discounted on all flights.

Children are travelers aged between 2 and 17. Please note most airlines charge full fares to children older than 11.

Infants are children under the age of 2.

Infant traveling in lap usually rides for free on domestic flights, but, on most international flights, you will need to pay a fee for the same. There are special fares charged for the seats reserved for infants. Please check with the airline directly for more information.

Round trip means flying from one location to another and returning to the first location.

One way means flying from one location to another, and not returning to the first location.

Multiple destinations mean visiting several locations by choosing flights between each of those locations.

However, some airlines may use different names to describe their classes of service, here are some common terms used:

Coach/Economy Class is seating is in the main cabin area which is the most economical.

Business Class- The seating in such a cabin is quite spacious, allowing you to recline farther and giving more leg space. It also offers an upgraded meal service. Business class tickets are costly than Economy class but less than First Class.

First class seating is the most expensive and located very close to the front part of the aircraft. It has limited but most comfortable seats and offers upgraded meals. Other perks include shorter check-in queues and access to the airline's airport business lounge. Please note that not all aircraft offer this kind of seating arrangement.

Flight options include:

Nonstop flights: Check this box if you want to see fares only for flights that do not stop or provide the opportunity of changing planes at one or more airports before you reach your final destination.

Connecting flights: Flights may have one or more landings and departures. Passengers will have to get off the plane and re-board another flight to reach the final destination.

Stops but no plane change flights: These flights may have up to 2 landings and departures that may not be disclosed upon booking, but you are not allowed to change the planes.

  • FareMojo shall not be liable for the failure of travel service suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, steamship lines, railroads, car rental agencies, tour operators and consolidators to perform the services offered by such suppliers.
  • FareMojo does not guarantee or ensure the services to be provided by any supplier, the financial position of such suppliers or the reimbursement to you from any loss experienced as a result of the financial condition of such supplier. If a supplier defaults before providing the service to you for which payment has been made, the sole recourse for refund shall be with the defaulting supplier, from insurance covering such defaults if any or from other responsible third parties unless FareMojo caused such.
  • In an event when a supplier defaults before providing services, you may pursue any recourse against the supplier for refund, which may be permitted by law or statute.
  • FareMojo warrants that it provides the highest standards of service in the trade and will use appropriate care in selecting suppliers to protect you from such default. Except as expressly stated herein, FareMojo holds no responsibility for actions relating to travel services beyond the control of FareMojo or its employees.
  • FareMojo is not liable for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, damage, delay, nonperformance, irregularity, or any consequence thereof, which may be occasioned through neglect, or default or any other act or inaction of any supplier of Travel products.
  • FareMojo shall not be liable for any fluctuation in price or change in schedule or equipment or accommodations for any travel service, which occurs after payment for such service.
  • FareMojo acts as a service bureau that provides value-added service to retail travel agents.
  • FareMojo has no control over and assumes no liability for the actions of the suppliers from whom it obtains travel products. For your, convenience FareMojo has included its service bureau fee in the fare quoted to you.
